Julia Gourley, DMD
Dr. Julia Gourley is excited about acquiring the practice and has a true passion for dentistry. She enjoys transforming smiles and seeing the added confidence it gives her patients. She received her degree in General Dentistry from Oregon Health and Sciences School of Dentistry in 2012. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science with highest honors. She keeps very busy going on adventures with her fantastic family – her husband Scott, her mother Galina, and her two children: Sophia (9 years old) and Andrew (21 years old). Her favorite family activities include going to parks, zoos, museums, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Gourley is an avid learner of new dental procedures. In addition to a plethora of skills, Dr. Gourley is certified to place dental implants, and to perform the Chao Pinhole Surgery Technique.
Tara – Office Manager
As our Front Office Manager, Tara is here to help you feel comfortable at our office. She has over 20 years of experience in the dental field and is very knowledgeable, so you can always feel free to ask her any questions you may have. Tara loves being part of the Apple Family Dental team and enjoys the family-oriented focus at our practice. She is married and has three children: Tristen, Blake, and Paige. Away from the office, Tara enjoys watching her kids race motorcycles.
Becky – Insurance Coordinator
As our Insurance Coordinator, Becky is here to verify your insurance benefits and inform you of your specific coverage to help you understand your benefits and billings. She is happy to make the process as simple as possible for you, and she is always courteous and friendly. Becky has been with our office for four years and has over 30 years of experience in the field. She enjoys being in a positive environment with a caring team that works well together – the staff members complement each other to make an extraordinary team. With this team and Dr. Gourley’s expertise, we are able to give our patients a pleasant dental experience. Becky finds it a pleasure to work with Dr. Gourley, as she truly cares about her patients and what is best for them. Becky has been married to Kevin for 39 years and has a son, a daughter, four grandsons, and one granddaughter. In her free time, she loves spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, camping, beach trips, and campfires.
Lauren – Patient Care Coordinator
Lauren’s helpful and positive attitude helps us provide patients with quality care. She has been working with our practice since its opening and contributes as a patient care coordinator. Lauren graduated from Toledo High School in 2009 and then graduated from the Camas School of Dental Assisting. Lauren has been working in the dental industry since 2011. Lauren is happily married to her husband, Anthony, and they have three dogs. When she is not at Longview Family Dental, Lauren enjoys hiking, camping, and going on road trips. We are glad Lauren is part of our excellent team!
Teresa – Registered Dental Hygienist
Teresa graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1983, studied at Lower Columbia College for two years, and graduated with her associate degree in dental hygiene from Clark College in 1987. She has been with our practice for seven years and enjoys working with awesome coworkers; we are a great team that works well together while having fun to provide great care to our patients. Teresa loves getting to know her patients on a personal level, becoming friends with them, and providing them with individualized oral care for their specific needs. In fact, she has been seeing many of the same patients for over 25 years! Teresa married her wonderful husband, Roger, in 1988, and they have cats that they refer to as their four-legged children. When she isn’t working, she enjoys riding quads in the dunes, camping, reading, yoga, and spending time with family.
Breezy – Registered Dental Hygienist
Breezy graduated from Toutle Lake High School in 2013, studied at Lower Columbia College for 2 years while on a softball scholarship, and graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Clark College in 2017. Breezy enjoys building personal relationships with her patients that are centered around educating and motivating them towards an optimum state of oral health. When she is not working, Breezy enjoys hiking, attending sporting events, and spending time with her family and friends.
AMY-RESTORATIVE DENTAL ASSISTANT
Amy has been in the dental field for over 25 years! She has a wonderful husband, four children, two dogs, and a cat. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling! Amy joined our team January 2019 as our Restorative Dental Assistant. She loves changing smiles and giving patients the best dental experience possible! She looks for to many more years providing excellent dental care with us.
Candice – EFDA Licensed Restorative Provider
Candice has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She loves being part of our great team and helping patients gain more confidence in their smiles. Candice and her husband, Kylin, moved from the Grays Harbor area 4 years ago, and they love this area. They have 2 children, ages 7 & 5, that are quickly becoming active in the community. When she is not working, Candice enjoys the outdoors, hiking, gardening, playing sports, and crafting.
Jamie – Lead Dental Assistant
Jamie joined the Apple Family Dental team in April 2016. She has been helping patients as a dental assistant for over 18 years. Jamie graduated dental assistant school in 1999 from the US Army. Working with people and helping them reach their dental goals is the highlight of her job. She finds it rewarding to restore beautiful smiles and help patients work through their dental fears. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. Jamie and her family enjoy the outdoors, fishing, camping, and taking trips to the beach.
Mickena – Registered Dental Assistant and Phlebotomist
Mickena has been in the dental field since graduating from Kelso High School in 2014. She mostly enjoys creating relationships with her patients in order to provide a welcoming environment specific to the individual. Her favorite part of Dental Assisting is being able to witness the transformations of both the patient’s smiles and comfort levels. When not at work, Mickena enjoys the outdoors; camping, boating, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
